The London 8 Kit: Humble in Size, Huge in Performance

The Broadway panels of the London 8 room kit are made from high-density fiberglass, and will remove any unwanted flutter, primary reflections, and echoes. LEDE - Live End, Dead End

In the early '70s, studio engineers discovered that studios that were fully covered in sound absorbing materials provided an unnatural sound in real-life situations. From then on, rooms were only partly covered, and the covered part was called the dead end, because that's where the sound had a dry, dead character. The uncovered part that was left was called the live end, due to the lively, more open sound.
